Asst. Prof. Maroje Višić is an assistant professor at the Libertas International University in Zagreb. He was appointed to a scientific degree of research associate in Interdisciplinary sciences (philosophy; sociology). He is the editor of the Ellipsis book series in social sciences and humanities at Durieux publishing house, Zagreb. He is one of the co-course directors of the international conference ERZÄHLUNG DES SOZIALEN Philosophie, Kunst, Soziologie, Pädagogik that has been held for 37 years at the Interuniversity Center in Dubrovnik. He holds PhD from Bergische Universität Wuppertal, Fakultät für Human- und Sozialwissenschaften (Germany). He published the book Critique and Resistance: Foundations of Herbert Marcuse's Critical Philosophy (Breza Publishing, Zagreb, 2017). He co-edited several anthologies including Trade unions between labour and capital (together with Miroslav Artić; Durieux, Zagreb, 2022), Bicentennial of Friedrich Engels (together with Miroslav Artić; Durieux, Zagreb, 2020), and Karl Marx, on the occasion of the bicentennial of his birth (together with Goran Sunajka; Breza Publishing, Zagreb, 2018)
