Prof. Dana Hanesova has been a teacher at the Matej Bel University in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia, since 1993. She has taught various courses in pedagogy, teaching methodology, English for Specific Purposes of Education Sciences, Philosophy of Education etc. Currently she and her doctorate, Anna Pavova, are researching the influence of neuroscientific research data upon the educational process in primary schools. She has written, almost a hundred studies and several books, e.g. Teachers under the Microscope, From Learning Facts to Learning to Think.
