The Author, Edikan Umoren, is the Technical Partner/CEO at Standbasis Education Consultants, a Nigerian frim. He is an ICT professional with special interest in designing solutions for education resourcing and supportive learning environment. With an extensive work experience that spanned many domains - aviation, sea and land transport and corporate ICT support - the recurring engagement has been in processes design, project management and industry development press. There is a hint of activism in every aspect of his professional and hobby interest that tends toward enrichment of life at work, leisure and family. Edikan is in a very blessed retirement life that is intended to be spent in extended hours of reading, writing and contributing to conversations about human development.

The author also has an invention called e-pls currently undergoing alpha tests. E-pls is a Students' Time Management service and capability for Contact-Lecture Hour Policy Management toward academic excellence.
