Edita Slunjski

Prof.dr.sc. Edita is a professor at the Department of Pedagogy of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb, where she conducts courses of Pedagogy of Early Childhood, Early Childhood Education Curriculum, and Alternative Pedagogical Ideas and Schools. She is the head of the Cathedra of Preschool Pedagogy and the head of the Postgraduate Doctoral (PhD) Studies in Pedagogy at the Department of Pedagogy of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb.
She is the author of about one hundred scientific and professional papers and 25 books.
Her research interests are early childhood education curriculum, leadership, qualitative research and alternative pedagogical concepts.
She was head of the expert working group for drafting the National Curriculum for Early Childhood Education and Care at the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports of the Republic of Croatia.
Edita Slunjski is the current president of the Croatian Pedagogical Society and the founder of Ennea - International Professional Learning Community in Early and Preschool Education.
