Martyna Elerian

Dr. Elerian has a PhD in International Relations and European Studies (University of Nicosia) and a Master’s degree in History (Nicolaus Copernicus University). Her research focus is on multiple dimensions of international education, including international schools, international mindedness, global citizenship and intercultural education. Dr Elerian continuously participates in educational conferences and publishes her work in peer-reviewed journals. She is a member of the British Society for Educational Studies, and a member of the Roster of professionals for the Association for Historical Dialogue and Research (Cyprus). Dr Elerian spent 10 years teaching in international schools where she was also responsible for the development, internationalisation, and implementation of courses in History, Geography, Sociology, and Media Studies. Having completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, Dr Elerian has a pedagogical competence in lesson planning & implementation, assessment, class management, and resource development. She is an Assessment Specialist for Cambridge Assessment International Education and has been involved in various international educational programs, such as Model United Nations, European Youth Parliament, International Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, and World-Class Scholar Program.
