Meenakshi Krishnaraj is a Ph.D. in Education candidate at the University of Sydney with a focus of Asian History, Gender and Education. She is a Social Media and Communication fellow at the Australia and New Zealand History of Education Society (ANZHES). She has co-convened a yearlong critical theory reading group, that included being a co-convener of a conference with Prof. Raewyn Connell. Her presentation on understanding the historic role of the Guru in the Jain mega to learner Good University is under review for publication. She was also the co-facilitator for the 2021 hacks for student staff partnership, and worked with participants to create a manifesto. She currently works with schools and non-governmental organizations in India to support the transition to digital education and work with them to provide digital literacy skills required to make the transition effectively. Prior to which she worked in the office of the deputy vice chancellor of education at the University of Sydney.
