Prof Chan’s expertise is foreign language teaching, reflected by his 35 years of German and English teaching at higher education institutions, including Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Lingnan University, Chu Hai College of Higher Education, and Caritas Institute of Higher Education. Advancing from Lecturer to the Head of an English Department, Prof Chan’s passion for foreign language teaching never stops. He has also been contributing to academic programme planning, implementation, and collaboration with colleagues and scholars. Prof Chan is currently Professor of the School of Humanities and Languages at Caritas Institute of Higher Education in Hong Kong.
